1st Samuel 3:7
Now Samuel did not yet know God, neither was the word of God
yet revealed unto him, (Samuel.)
1st Samuel 3:21
And the LORD, (God,) appeared again at Shiloh, because the LORD, (God,)
revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD, (God.)
Gospel of John chapter 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory,
glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of Grace and Truth.
Come, taste and see that the LORD is good! Enter here into the Family of God!
You salvation is so easy and so close to you that you will be amazed of the simplicity of it all!! Read the
following verses and do as they instruct you to do and you will be saved. It is written; "The word is
near you, in your mouth and in your heart"----that is, the word of faith which I am preaching, "that if you
confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;"
for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting
in salvation. For the scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him, (meaning Jesus Christ,) will not be
disappointed." And it is further written, for "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord, (meaning
Jesus Christ,) will be saved....So what are you waiting for? You already have the invitation.

Revealing Word Ministries

ACTS OF GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT I
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My witnesses both
in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria and even to the remotest part of the earth. (Acts 1:8.) You will
find that throughout this website and in the ministries of Revealing Word Ministries you will hear much
about God's Holy Spirit. In the study of the scriptures, much is written about God's Holy Spirit, yet, not
much is taught about His ministry and He is not relied upon to carry out God's work here on earth much
less in people's lives and the ministries that God has entrusted to them.
What I find most amazing is the ignorance that people have and miss when it comes to the scriptures
that even the Son of God, Jesus, also relied and needed to be filled and empower by God's Holy Spirit.
(Luke 3:21-22 and Luke 4:1-19.) Even John the Baptist was filled with Holy Spirit while in his
mother's womb and throughout his ministry. In the Book of Genesis, 1:2, it tells of how the Spirit
was moving over the surface of the waters. People because of their ignorance and also because they
are not taught, think and believe that Holy Spirit came into existence in the new testament. You will
learn, as you already have, He has been in existence long before the foundation of the world were
set.
For example, you will find in the Book of Exodus how Bezalel was filled with God's Holy Spirit in
wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge and in all kind of craftmanship to make artistic designs
for work in gold, silver and in bronze and also with the ability to teach others. (Exodus 31:1-11.)
(Exodus 35:30-35 and Exodus 36:1-8.) Notice that when Bezalel and the other chosen men were
filled with God's Holy Spirit they were given wisdom, understanding and knowledge; guess who
else was filled with the same Holy Spirit in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge? Read
God's Holy Spirit, and led by God's Holy Spirit, what makes you think you don't and can accomplish
the things of God, which are spiritual? It is written; "As the Master, so shall the servant be."
A few words of encouragement; perhaps you have missed out on the teachings of God's Holy
Spirit or were not even aware that Holy Spirit even existed; well, you are not alone. One of
Israel's Teachers and Religious leader did not understand what Jesus meant when Jesus told
him that he, (the Teacher and Religious leader of Israel,) must be born again in order to see the
Kingdom of God and enter into the Kingdom of God. You can read about that in the Gospel of
John, chapter 3:1-12. As strange as this may sound, Nicodemus had no understanding as to what
Jesus was talking about yet other prophets had foretold about God pouring out His Spirit in the
last days. For example, in Isaiah chapter 44:3 it talks about how God will pour out His Spirit
on Israel's off spring and also in the book of Ezekiel 36:27 it also talks about how God will
pour out His Spirit on His people. In the book of Joel, chapter 2:28-29, you will also see that
the prophet foretold of God pouring out His Spirit on all people. There are other references
to God's Holy Spirit which I will give to you as we go along.
A Change That Comes About When........

One of the first things that changes in a person when Holy Spirit comes upon them is a changed
heart!!! As you have read in one of the references provided for you above, when God starts
changing the being of a man or woman, He starts by giving us a new heart. You will find in
the book of 1st Samuel, chapter 10:6, 9 and 10, what happened to Saul after the Prophet
Samuel prophesied to him as to the changes that were about to come about in his life. In the
6th verse Samuel tells Saul how he will become a changed man and in the 9th verse Samuel
tell Saul how he will have a changed heart.
In the book of Acts, chapter 9 where it described the conversion of Saul the Pharisee, you will
read and see the changes that took place in Saul's life after Ananias did to Saul as the Lord
Jesus Christ commanded him to do . (Book of Acts, Chapter 9:17-19.) Now keep in mind that
you have just read about two different people with the same name. One was about a man
named Saul in the old testament who became the first King of Israel but did not remain faithful
or obedient to God and the other man named Saul in the new testament who was converted and
filled with God's Holy Spirit, who also had a name change, (his name was changed from Saul to
Paul and he became an Apostle of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.) Two different men, same
God and Holy Spirit and only one chose to remain faithful, obedient and finish the race.
Why a changed heart first of all and not a change in our social status, financial status or any
other areas of our life? Glad you did not ask but I will tell you anyway. When you say that
you need to get cleaned up and put on some clean clothes, you don't go out and roll in the
mud or horse manure and put on clothes that has been in the hamper for who knows how
long, do you? No way!!! Instead you get in the shower and scrub down real good with lots
of soap all over your body and shampoo your hair real good, (for those that are blessed with
hair,) shave, brush teeth, get out and dry yourself real good, fix up your hair and finally, put
on your most beautiful clothes that you have and hubba, hubba, do you ever look so good and
smell soooo good!!! Wow!!! Well, in the same way when you come into the Family of God.
However, the change that takes place in you is not superficial....it is real!!!
When John the Baptist, (who happened to be a cuz of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,) was
preaching, he did not mince his words!!! He would not be welcomed with open arms in today's
society much less churches. In his preaching, which you will find in the Gospel of Luke,
chapter 3:3-9, he pretty much told it like it was suppose to be. He did not come saying, "Let's
make a deal," instead he pretty much came saying, "this is the deal and this is the way it is
going to be!!!!) Jesus, when He was speaking to the Woman at the well in the city of Samaria,
pretty much said the same thing. You can read about this in the Gospel of John, chapter 4:21-26.
Before we continue on as to why we must change and why does our Heavenly Father gives
us a new heart and mind too, let's compare notes as to the reasons He does that. I will
continue with the writings about Holy Spirit after I receive your answers.
One of the very good reasons and perhaps the only good reason that our Heavenly Father
gives us a new heart and a new mind is this; Now remember, this is what our Heavenly
says, not me, I have no room to speak and point fingers at others myself. Jeremiah 17:9-10
reads as follows; "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can
know it? I the LORD search the heart. "I try the reins, even to give every man according to
his ways, and according to the fruit of his doing." In Ecclesiastes 9:3, you will find what it
says about us; "This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one
event unto all; yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their
heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead."
In the book of the Prophet Isaiah you will find the following; Isaiah chapter 1:5-6; "Why
should you be stricken any more? "You will revolt more and more; the whole head is sick,
and the whole heart is faint." "From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no
soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores; they have not been closed,
neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment."
In Isaiah 6:10, you will read; "Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears
heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and
understand with their hearts, and convert, and be healed." In Matthew chapter 13:15,
it reads as follows; "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of
hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears, and should understand with their hearts, and should be con-
verted, and I should heal them."
Perhaps from the above readings you can see why, when we enter into the Family of God,
we need a complete, and I do mean complete, overhaul!!! Sinful flesh cannot enter into
the Kingdom of God so that is why we must be born again. As Jesus told Nicodemus a
ruler of the Jews; "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into
the Kingdom of God." That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit."
